Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Facility

Overview of Services

The NMR Core Facility at the University of South Carolina is part of the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry. It is housed in suite 108 of the John M. Palms Center for Graduate Science Research (formerly the Graduate Science Research Center). It is the only high resolution NMR facility at USC; researchers are welcomed from throughout the University. We also provide services to other local universities and industrial clients.

The facility has two full time staff members that:
  • train users for routine and advanced access
  • assist with experiment selection and execution
  • consult and collaborate with internal and external researchers
  • maintain the instrumentation
